The mortgage portfolio is secured by institutional-grade commercial real estate diversified across Canada and by property type to enhance security of capital.

Conservative underwriting practices are strictly adhered to on both the underlying assets as well as the borrowers.  The portfolio is comprised of commercial mortgage investments with a maximum of 75% Loan-to-Value and minimum Debt Service Coverage Ratio of 1.20.  Term loans currently range from 5 to 20 years and up to $20 Million.
