The mortgage portfolio is secured by institutional-grade commercial real estate diversified across Canada and by property type to enhance security of capital.

Conservative underwriting practices are strictly adhered to on both the underlying assets as well as the borrowers.  The portfolio is comprised of long-term commercial mortgage investments with a maximum of 65% Loan-to-Value and minimum Debt Service Coverage Ratio of 1.4.  Term loans range from 15 to 30 years and up to $65 Million.
